Abundant flowering of cyclamen: discover with us how to do it

Green thumb lovers welcome!

As all plant and flower lovers know well, autumn can also give us the birth of wonderful flowers.

Precisely for this reason, below, we will find out together how it is possible to grow cyclamen in your own home .

Here’s how to grow cyclamen in your apartment and make it lush and strong.

At home, using some simple and easy tricks, we can give birth and grow our cyclamen in a healthy and strong way.

Growing this plant in our apartment will really be child’s play. However, to do so, the secret ingredient is always and in any case to have great attention and above all a lot of love for plants.

History of the cyclamen.

The cyclamen plant is found above all in the Mediterranean Sea basin therefore they are mostly concentrated in Boreal Africa, in the western part of Asia and in southern Europe.

Its name is of Greek origin and derives, in fact, from the word circle name attributed to this plant probably due to its round and tuberous roots .

Tips for caring for cyclamen.

Being an autumnal plant, the cyclamen needs to live with low temperatures. The ideal would be to obtain a temperature between 10 and 15 degrees .

Obviously caring for this plant in your home does not cause any type of problem but it must be placed, as we have said, in an environment suitable for it.

To keep it healthy and strong you need to fertilize it 3 times a week using a fertilizer full of potassium and phosphorus .

In addition to this, it must not be watered too much or even too little . The best thing to do is to immerse the plant in a bowl full of water for 30 minutes or we can simply water the plant by pouring the water from top to bottom .

The soil, on the other hand, must be made up of a mix of soil and peat , and acid is recommended .

To prevent diseases, however, it will be enough to pay attention to the color of the leaves . In fact, if spots appear or we see the color of the leaves change, it will mean that our plant will need care.

To prevent mold instead we can simply add more bark on the ground and be careful of any water stagnation .

At this point I would say that we have all the useful information to test ourselves and take care of our cyclamen.

Good work.
